Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Information Assurance (IA)

“Delivering full-service information assurance, security engineering, certification, and accreditation support worldwide to support the Warfighter”

In October 2008, the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC), Information Assurance and Security Engineering Directorate (IASED) located at Fort Huachuca, AZ, awarded NCI a $90.5 million IDIQ task order under the TEIS contract. NCI provides security engineering support to Department of Defense (DoD) organizations and non-DoD Federal agencies that are relocating, upgrading, or renovating as the Federal Government modernizes and streamlines IT operations.

NCI’s technical cybersecurity experts design, configure, and deploy secure IT systems and network solutions based on security engineering assessments of customer needs and mission objectives. We provide security engineering support, as well as certification preparation and security certification testing to U.S. Army Directorates of Information Management (DOIMs). NCI conducts site security surveys; develops initial security design plans; assists customer with preparing DoD Information Assurance Certification Accreditation Process (DIACAP) documents and artifacts; conducts risk assessments; and recommends countermeasures. We provide security testing and evaluation support, including vulnerability and risk assessments, security test and evaluation plans, DIACAP scorecards, and other validation documentation.
