Undergraduate Air Battle Manager Training System (UABMTS) - “Providing highly effective and realistic software for aerial command and control applications”

Providing complete on-site support for the 325th Air Control Squadron, Air Education and Training Command (AETC) at Tyndall AFB, NCI operates, tests, and sustains Distributed Mission Operations– (DMO-) compatible hardware and software systems that compose this complex, Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) simulation environment to provide training for aerial combat operations. Within NCI’s Defense Security Office– (DSO-) certified secure facility, we have achieved an initial operational capability (IOC) of the Training Systems Support Center (TSSC) and are integrating a modern tactical display interface to provide highly effective and realistic software for aerial command and control applications. We provide software development and systems integration for upgrading the command and control user interface to a modern, Tactical Display Framework– (TDF-) compliant presentation and modernize voice communications, mission record/replay, and scenario generator subsystems. NCI inserts technology to integrate future DMO network capabilities and to integrate/interface with other network assets, including Full Mission Trainers for F-15 and F-22 aircraft, live data from Aircraft ACMI Pods, radar from eastern and western air defense sectors, and simulated and Live Radio and Link-16 data links.
