F-16 OSS&E
The Client The U.S. Air Force
The Challenge
The Air Force required subject matter expertise for F-16 Operational Safety, Suitability and Effectiveness (OSS&E) which includes engineering, technical, management, and logistics support for the overall analysis, support, and sustainment of projects and workloads concerned with F-16 aircraft systems, subsystems, processes, and programs.
The Solution
Due to the depth of F-16 knowledge required, we used the experienced resources of our DESP II team and selected senior engineers with extensive F-16 knowledge, systems engineering, and OSS&E experience directly related to aircraft modification and systems upgrades to support this effort.
We will help the SPO modification team build quality plans for risk management, systems safety/environmental, configuration management, test and evaluation, technical orders and tech data, and manufacturing/quality.
The Results
With more than 20 years of experience supporting the F-16 aircraft operational, engineering, logistics, and sustainment requirements for both U.S. and foreign countries, provide outstanding OSS&E support to the program office. Engineering resources from our team provides experience that includes supporting production and manufacturing processes, parts substitution, process improvements, systems engineering, test/evaluation, and contracting methods in support of F-16 structural, avionics, and software modification programs. We understand the importance of OSS&E as it is applied to aircraft modifications and the associated need for a broad safety review and information distribution. |
