Common Aircraft Portable Reprogramming Equipment (CAPRE) Engineering and Technical Support Services
The Client U.S. Air Force
The Challenge
Perform hardware and software development and modification services, such as high level circuit and system design, circuit simulation, engineering support for prototyping and trouble shooting prototyped hardware, and software development in support of hardware system design and integration.
The Solution
We are the prime contractor working with OO-ALC to develop a Common Aircraft Portable Reprogramming Equipment (CAPRE) product line that is a portable, light-weight, rugged system to reprogram avionics equipment for use by deployed forces anywhere in the world. We designed printed circuit boards and circuit card assemblies that achieve maximum performance, reliability, and supportability.
The Results
We developed the Aircraft Adapter Groups (AAGs) to support weapon system platforms, line replaceable units, and support equipment for many applications on a wide variety of aircraft, including those currently deployed for combat by demonstrating a unique level of knowledge and insight in aircraft avionics software development and engineering experience across a broad range of aircraft types within a CMMI Level 5 development environment applicable to multiple airframes, including the A-10, AC-130, B-1, B-52, C-5, C-17, C-130, C-141, F-15, F-16, F-117, MC-130 and the MH-53, with potential to fill other DoD agencies' needs. A recent quote from our customer stated "They make my problems go away. They run a turn-key operation."
