USAF Aeromedical Evacuation Training
The Client
The United States Air Force
The Challange
- We were tasked to provide timely, cost effective training for Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard flight nurses and medical technicians. Our challenge was to thoroughly cover all important procedures and equipment while keeping the training interesting and engaging. The team created a game-like feel for exercises and scenarios, while keeping keyboard and mouse manipulation simple.
- Create engaging courseware for AE Crew Members (AECMs) with diverse age, education, and computer proficiency backgrounds.
The Solution
- We designed and implemented a totally new approach for the small Learjet C-21 aircraft.
- We developed a unique 3-D, interactive design with a game-like feel, including the ability to "walk" onscreen AECM around the aircraft.
- Tactile activities enable students to practice procedures and use emergency equipment
