NCI’s CHRO Clay Worley Named One of Washington, D.C.’s Top HR Leaders of the Year by DCA Live



RESTON, Va., August 2, 2021 – Congratulations to NCI’s Chief Human Resources Officer Clay Worley for being selected by DCA Live as one of the top Human Resources leaders in the Washington, D.C. area. Worley was nominated by his peers in the D.C. HR community and selected from a deep pool of candidates for his “exceptional performance” as an HR leader, as well as demonstrated contributions to his organization – NCI Information Systems, Inc.


Since 2017, Worley has served as senior vice president and CHRO at NCI, responsible for the company’s HR and facility security strategy and execution. Worley has more than 30 years of experience leading HR teams and driving human capital initiatives across HR functional areas in support of business objectives, including executive HR roles at DXC Technology, Leidos, SAIC and L-3 Communications.


Worley is deeply involved in several organizations across the D.C. region, currently serving on the board of the HR Alliance D.C. organization and is a member of the Senior Human Resources Executive Foundation (SHREF). He is currently serving on the board of advisors for BioPharma Global. He was formerly on the board of directors for the Washington Women’s Leadership Initiative. Additionally, he is involved with community and charitable organizations such as The Lamb Center, Jobs For Life, Habitat for Humanity, and the Paralyzed Veterans of America’s National Veterans Wheelchair Games. He recently joined the Workforce and Education Executive Committee of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. Worley holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Louisville and a master’s degree in business administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
