(NCI), a leading provider of advanced information technology solutions and professional services to U.S. federal government agencies, today announced Charles (Chuck) Hicks Jr. has joined the company as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer.
Hicks brings more than 25 years of industry experience to his role at NCI leading the finance functions for the company. His expertise includes merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions; integration initiatives to improve operational excellence, efficiency and performance, and the development of strategic partnerships.

Before joining NCI, Hicks served as the CFO for Cresa Global, Inc. Prior to this, he was executive vice president for strategic growth, chief operating officer and CFO for SC3, a mid-sized federal contractor focused on the intelligence community, which is now part of General Dynamics Information Technology. He also served in executive leadership roles at ASRC Federal, SAIC, and USIS. In these prior positions, Hicks provided strategic oversight and management of the following financial and business operations—financial planning and analysis, business intelligence, project control, pricing, government accounting, and compliance, contracts and procurement.
Hicks’ career also includes having worked at Ernst & Young and serving in the U.S. Navy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Maryland College Park. He also completed executive M&A education from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
